Pure beeswax is a premium product made by honeybees. They use it to store honey and pollen in the hive and also use it to raise new bees. Our beeswax is 100% natural. It is produced by Hanna's Bees own colonies of Native Irish Honeybees in Cork, Ireland.  The beeswax comes from a renewable source and is sustainably produced and eco-friendly. The was is melted and filtered to remove impurities but the beeswax is not treated in any way. It is free of toxins and chemicals.

Beeswax has anti-fungal and antibacterial properties. Pure beeswax has many uses and is a common ingredient in lots of everyday items. For example, it is used in cosmetics and grooming products. You also find it in soaps and pharmaceuticals. Furthermore, beeswax is used in food, arts and crafts, musical instruments and their maintenance.  It is used to make wood polish and leather conditioner, as well as reusable beeswax wraps.
